• The annual BCA awards Dinner is to be held on 27th November this year at The Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly.   Various awards will be given out during the black tie event including 2009 Business Centre of the Year, 2009 Managed Workspace of the Year and 2009 Trade Supplier of the Year.  The BCA is now inviting nominations for the awards. #
• A new Staines office space development has been opened by Staines One.  Located on Station Approach, the centre offers 1,258-8,314 sq ft of fully refurbished office space situated moments from Staines mainline train station and under half a mile from the town centre.  Currently three leading serviced office operators offer business centres in central Staines including Regus, Orega and MWB. #

• Flexible office space operator Workspace has announced a 33% drop in property value as the company’s net asset value for the year to 31st March fell by a massive 88%.  The operator has blamed the impact of the recession on the property sector for the poor results and says that it has reduced overheads to focus on cash ongoing.  With a substantial London based portfolio the group offers a range of commercial accommodation from work shops and light industrial to serviced office space. #
• Atlantic Business Centres has announced that it will no longer be trading from its Tunbridge Wells Business Centre on Calverley Road.  Atlantic has pulled out of the joint venture with Galliard Homes which will continue to manage the property under a different name.  The serviced office provider continues to operate from two serviced office centres in Hemel Hempstead and Chelmsford. #
