• Small Office Space Company Business Homes is reported to be struggling during the downturn with additional job cuts and office closures according to Property Week magazine iss 14.11.08.  Bad news for the firm which, specialising in small office space, is potentially another credit crunch victim as the trend for small companies and start-ups opting for money saving Virtual Office services over physical office space continues to rise. #
• Bad news for London Office commuters as Transport for London scraps several schemes in a bid to save £2.4bn over 10 years.  Projects including the Thames Gateway Bridge, DLR extension to Dagenham Dock and a number of Street Trams proposals have been rejected as part of the money saving initiative. Hundreds of redundancies are also expected to be made across the London Transport workforce.  On a positive note, however, the government plans to invest money saved back into London’s tube system improvements. #
