Serviced Offices

Mayfair Serviced Offices, Offices to Rent from Pall Mall to Hanover Square

As you’d expect from one of the most prosperous areas of the world there is no shortage of serviced office operators in Mayfair.  Despite the economical doom and gloom of 2008 there is actually a shortage of serviced office space in the area versus demand.  Currently serviced office companies in Mayfair are enjoying high occupancy levels and are even vying to find new buildings from which to open in this sought after business district. The biggest problem for office space operators is that the style of the Mayfair buildings are not conducive to a serviced office format.  However MLS Business Centres have recently opened a new centre in Yarmouth Place even if this is a little out from the hot zone of Berkeley Square

It’s slightly contentious when serviced office operators describe themselves as being located in Mayfair, I suppose it is subjective whether a company on Piccadilly is in Mayfair or not. For the purpose of this article I will be describing a walk through all serviced offices in Mayfair, St James’s and Piccadilly.

There are 25 serviced offices in Mayfair and its immediate surrounds. These are offered by 13 serviced office operators. As you’d expect all the big operators are here such as Regus, MWB, and MLS meaning that there’s pretty much something to suit all business ranging from the super prestigious Berkeley Square House to the possibly best value space in Mayfair on Bruton Street.

Starting on Mayfair fringes is Regus on Pall Mall (the old Gainsborough head office).  If we walk through St James’s Square and onto Piccadilly there is Business Space aka 211 Piccadilly with one of the oldest centres in the country.  Less than a minute down the road are Business Centre and 35 Piccadilly. Harvard have recently moved from their head office of county mark house to Heddon Street. This end of Piccadilly is close to Piccadilly Circus, if we walked towards Hyde Park corner we’d find MWBEC and MLS on Yarmouth Place close to the Japanese emabassy

Into the heart of Mayfair is Berkeley Square with Regus in Berkeley Square House and its main London rival MWB on Berkeley Street. MWB is one of the very few companies in Mayfair offering contemporary serviced office space. Just to the side of Berkeley Square is Bruton Street.  Full of galleries and designers, here you’ll find the very innocuous Reflex Business Solutions offering great value managed office space. On the other side of the square is Dover Street and MLS’s competitively priced offering. Back into central Mayfair is Forsyth in Carlos Place  and also Gerald Ratners old House in Stratton Street next to Michael Cain’s restaurant Langan’s

Moving away from Piccadilly and on towards Oxford Street is Hanover Square where you’ll find all the key commercial agents for London. Three operators’ vie for business in this niche part of Mayfair. Regus are in the old Longford building whilst Avanta has two offering in Hanover Square and Easydesk also has some great value managed office here.

Heading towards Oxford Street is Dwyer situated close to Bond Street and if we kept walking we’d hit MWB on Cavendish Square

No matter what the economy seems to do Mayfair always bucks the trend of what other parts of London, the UK and worldwide does and with its ongoing popularity for these flexible lease office lets there is sure to be further centres opening here over time.
